The orchid plant was given to us by Pam's dear, dear friend, Sandy, in honor of Pam’s father, and will be traveling with us.
What we really love about the new location are the birds. During the first meal we ate at the picnic table, we were joined by a pair of mallards. They weren’t interested in the bird seed we had, but loved the bread! Pam finally went and bought corn seed for them. They love that. Every meal we eat at the table, they join us. The two teeny, teeny "spots" in the water are the ducks swimming.

We also have cardinals, a pair of Canadian geese and squirrels—all of which come up to our table. We now have a bag of finch seed, corn seed, cardinal seed and shell-on peanuts for the jays.

As of yet, we have not been able to get the blue jays to join us while we are outside. Also, the songbirds haven't found our feeder. But we are sure that will come!
